Description: The purpose of the Essential Practices in Early Literacy document is to increase Michigan’s capacity to improve children’s literacy by identifying a small set of research supported daily core literacy instructional practices. This three day course will explore the Essential Practices in Early Literacy and ways to strengthen instruction and improve literacy. This course is for K-3 classroom teachers, interventionist, special educators, curriculum coordinators and ESL teachers.
