Description:  The purpose of the Essential Practices in Early Literacy document is to increase Michigan’s capacity to improve children’s literacy by identifying a small set of research supported daily core literacy instructional practices. Ten practices will be examined across the 3 days. This course is for K-3 classroom teachers, interventionists, special educators, curriculum coordinators and ESL teachers.
