Literacy and Technology Leadership Lab (Grades 3-12), Cohort I, Day 2 of 5

October 9, 2014 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

$125.00

What are the most effective ed tech tools to use in the teaching of reading and writing for your context?  This teacher lab experience will provide a space for tech savvy teachers to think more deeply about how they select and integrate technology into their teaching practice.  In addition to developing a process for assessing the efficacy of literacy-focused tech tools, teachers will develop resources to bolster their own practice and to support tech integration around literacy in other classrooms.  These resources include virtual tool tours and a classroom case study.  The lab will also potentially include virtual meetings and classroom support as teachers develop and pilot activities that engage tech tools for literacy-focused instruction.

This two day, three evening series will be offered twice across the year—once in fall and once in winter.

Presenters: Delia DeCourcy and Paul Morsink
