This professional learning will focus on Essential Instructional Practice in Literacy #7: Intentional and ambitious efforts to build vocabulary and content knowledge. This day will support teachers with understanding what is effective vocabulary instruction, how to select vocabulary words, instructional routines to teach vocabulary, and how to teach vocabulary across the content areas.
